Volleyball

The first game in the District Girls Volleyball was held Tuesday, November 3.  FA beat Scotland, 3-1.  Alicia Hofer had 21 assists and 15 digs together with Jaden Miller's 16 digs and and 10 kiss and Lori Rensink's 16 kills and four blocks.  Game scores were 25-18, 16-25, 25-19, and 25-18.  FA plays Ethan on Thursday in Freeman.

MS Volleyball

This past weekend, Sept. 12, the Freeman Academy middle school volleyball team won first place in the 7th grade division of the Gayville-Volin Junior High Volleyball Tournament, winning all four of their matches 2-0, 2-0, 2-0, 2-1.

The five-team field consisted of Avon, Centerville, Gayville-Volin, Irene-Wakonda, and Freeman Academy. Olivia Boese led the team with 90% serving for the tournament.

The team consists of Clara Koerner, Olivia Boese, Brooklyn Ries, Bethany Wollman, Hannah Yoder, Marissa Hofer, Meghan Hofer, and Alicia Miller and is coached by Craig Wollman.
