Saying Farewell

As the school year ends, we bid a fond farewell to several teachers and staff members. Leaving after serving Freeman Academy for two years are Mark Jakopak who taught grades 3-4 and 7-8, and Loretta Rentschler who planned and cooked meals for hungry students and staff.
Nicolle Timmerman shared her expertise in a variety of subject areas over her 15 years at FA including instrumental music, government/economics, physical education and most recently technology coordinator. Susan Schrag faithfully served the school teaching grades 5-6 for 17 years. She was instrumental in getting a declam program started in the middle school grades. Cindy Boese fulfilled the complicated job of administrative assistant since 1995 – 22 years – with tireless attention to the many details that are “behind the scenes” during each school-year.
We are grateful for the contributions from each of these persons, but especially for the three ladies that have put in a total of 53 years of service for Freeman Academy. Blessings as you go on to serve others!
