Everyone is invited to our tenth annual barbecue fundraiser! We have added chislic and replaced pulled pork with beef brisket sandwiches to give some variety for our guests. The barbecue will be held in the school boulevard on the north end of Main Street. Serving will take place from 4:30-8:00 p.m.
We have decided to discontinue the contest portion of the event but will still have four chefs barbecuing ribs for guests to sample. Another new addition is soft-serve ice cream along with sno-cones and the usual delicious side dishes.
The 2017 FJC/FA Alumni Reunion will be held in conjunction with this event. Special recognition and seating is planned for classes whose graduating year ended in a “7” or a “2.” The informal setting will allow for opportunities to reconnect with friends while enjoying a great meal and musical entertainment.
We have some open spots for entertainment and welcome any alumni or community musical groups that want to be part of the entertainment. The program is informal and can be adjusted to accommodate any group that wishes to share their talent!
