Pam Tieszen

2009-2010: Superintendent/Principal

Pam Tieszen graduated from Freeman Academy in 1982.  She went on to graduate from Freeman Junior College in 1984 with an Associate of Arts in Physical Education and Jamestown College in North Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, History, and Political Science.  Pam has thirteen years of teaching experience both at Freeman Academy and Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  In 2004 Pam received her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Sioux Falls.  This is her second year as Superintendent and Principal of Freeman Academy.

Pam has three children: Tyler, a student at Dakota State University, Aaron, a senior at FA, and Jaime, a sophomore at FA.   She enjoys reading, traveling, and is looking forward to running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco in the Fall.
