Course Name: Concert Band

Description: Band, scheduled 3 days a week, 50 minutes in length, rehearses and performs music from various styles and periods. Performances by the concert band (grades 7-12) include the Fall and Spring Concerts and Yuletide. Members will also work on solo and/or ensemble music preparing for contest. Band members are to play in pep band which plays at home basketball games, unless he/she is a varsity player. Other performing opportunities include All-State Band, All-State Orchestra, All-State Jazz Band, Regional Band Festival, and Augie Band Festival.
