Financial Aid
- Tuition for every U.S. student attending Freeman Academy is automatically reduced
by $4,500. These funds come from various supporting organizations and friends of the school.
Some international students also qualify and are notified by Admissions staff when they
apply.
- A Tuition Reduction Agreement reduces tuition by up to $400 in exchange for parent
volunteer hours. Hours are granted for working in the office and library, bussing
students to events, helping with maintenance and many other tasks. A monthly newsletter
informs parents of volunteer opportunities that arise throughout the year.
- Additional grants are available for families based on
financial need; applications for financial assistance are
available in the Business Office and are due by June 1.
Parents are encouraged to discuss their personal financial needs with Administrator Pam
Tieszen (ext. 228)
- An International Student Fund provides assistance for international students on a
case-by-case basis. Interested students should contact Cindy Boese (ext. 224).
- The Edward & Alma Preheim Scholarship and the Clinton & Evelyn Preheim Scholarship
provide additional funds to current Freeman Academy high school students. Applications
and criteria for both are available from the Business Office.
-
Financial Aid packets can be completed online through our FACTS program at
www.factstuitionaid.com. Financial Aid packets need to be completed by June 1. Parents can stop in to the school office to pick up the paper version of the application at the school office if they do not want to do the process online.
