Freeman Academy’s on-campus housing is conveniently located on the west end of the school’s campus in Frontier Hall. Our on-campus housing overlooks our soccer fields and beautiful arboretum area.

We can currently house a maximum of 12 students in our three, two-bedroom suites. Our student suites are made up of two bedrooms that share a joined common living area with a private shower and toilet. The bedrooms have built in desks, closets with ample storage space, one set of bunk beds and a sink with vanity. Each suite can accommodate a maximum of four students of the same sex.

In addition to the student’s bedroom suites, there is a large community dining area with kitchenette and computers. The facility is equipped with Wi-Fi access. There is a living room area with comfortable seating, cable TV, games and a ping pong table. Laundry facilitates are available for the student’s use at no charge and are conveniently located on the same level as the living space.

The on-campus housing is supervised by a woman who lives on site in an apartment located adjacent to the students’ living quarters. This woman, with grown children and pets of her own adds a very homey, “family oriented” atmosphere to the on-campus living experience. She cooks nutritious meals for all of the students living on campus and they eat evening meals together like one big family. This experience truly becomes like a “home away from home”. Supervised study time and outings as a group add to the family feel. By staying in an environment overseen and supervised by someone who lives on site with the students, students from a distance can enjoy an intimate boarding experience with touches of home.

Freeman Academy’s on-campus housing is so small that it can be considered very similar to a private host family experience. Being located directly on campus allows the students easy access to all of the school’s facilities and allows for very convenient participation in extra curricular activities.
