Lillie Koerner Takes 1st at State Cross Country Meet

The State Cross Country Meet was held in Huron on October 23.  FA had four runners participating: Lillie Koerner, Clara Koerner, James DeJarnette, and Ben Brockmueller.  There were 110 participants in the girls race and 109 participants in the boys race.  The results are as follows:

Lillie Koerner - State Champion - 15:25.74
Clara Koerner - 27th - 17:00.24
Ben Brockmueller - 37th - 18:57.26
James DeJarnette - 38th - 19:00.71

Cross Country Runners Going to State

The Regional Cross Country Meet was held in Freeman on October 13. Four Freeman Academy Runners qualified for the State Meet: Lillie Koerner, Clara Koerner, James DeJarnette, and Ben Brockmueller.  Both girls and boys teams were 4th in points.  The State Meet will be held in Huron on October 23 with a 1:00 start time for the girls and 2:00 for the boys.  Admission is $5.00.  For more information, contact Suzanne Koerner at (605)925-7381.  The Region Results are as follows:
