The grade 5-6 band will make its debut during Yuletide. The concert band (grades 7-12) will also perform.

Freeman Academy’s Christmas dinners (Yuletide) will feature a Renaissance theme.  Please take note of the dates:  Thursday and Friday, December 15-16.  Students in grades 4-12 music classes will be performing both evenings.

Parents will not have to provide any prepared food items such as a dessert or salad this year. Instead, we will be charging your school account for some items. Prairie House will be preparing all the items for the meal.  Details will be sent later.

On the days and evenings of Yuletide, the kitchen will need volunteers to assist with meal preparation, serving, and washing dishes.  Please contact Amy Hofer Vetch at if you are willing to assist in this way.

Reserved tickets are needed for this event.  Information can be found in the newsletter, on the website and in the Courier in the weeks to come.

Grades 4-6 Supervision: We will not have supervision for grades 4-6 after their portion of the performance. Therefore, we are asking parents to assist in these ways:  1) If you are attending the dinner, save a seat for them so they may enjoy the dinner with you (they will not be charged for the dinner); and 2) On the alternate night, arrange to have them picked up by 7:15 p.m.  Parents will receive a letter in fuller detail regarding this event.  We wanted to communicate this information prior to ordering tickets.
